Bridie O’Brien’s work with pbdTravel International

Kudos to Bridie O’ Brien, a final year student of the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events Management of the University of Surrey Guildford for her immense contribution to pbdTravel International!

As part of the requirements for her MSc. Tourism Management qualification, Bridie undertook
a 3-month research into the operations of pbdTI. Her understanding of pbdTI’s product of using travel and sightseeing to enhance education led her to introduce an appropriate product, which will feature on pbdTI’s calendar for years to come.

Kidzania has become by far the most popular of our trips and this is all due to the hard work of Bridie. Through research into the UK Education Tourism Market, Bridie was able to make a number of suggestions which will only serve to move our operations horizontally!

As Bridie finishes her undergraduate studies in June 2017, we wish her all the best in her examinations and thereafter, and look forward to having a long-standing working relationship with her.
